Coastal Cottage, Aberffraw

(Anglesey)

For a relaxing self-catering holiday on Anglesey you could choose “Pendref”, a coastal cottage in Aberffraw, a quiet seaside village on the south west coast of the island.

This detached traditional cottage has three bedrooms and benefits from a secluded walled garden and its seaside location on the outskirts of this historic village near the banks of the Ffraw river.

Pendref has been awarded 4-stars under the new quality standards introduced by Visit Wales, which stands for excellent quality throughout. This property also has an access statement to accommodate potential visitors with disabilities.

The cottage is available throughout the year and offers visitors a very convenient base to explore the many miles of beautiful sandy beaches nearby, such as Aberffraw beach, as well as the Anglesey Coastal Path, where you can enjoy some breathtaking sea views as well as mountain vistas.

There is sleeping space for six people (on ground floor), linen is provided and the cottage is well furnished, with laundry facilities, hairdryer and cots for young children.

You can bring your pets if arranged in advance with the owners. A TV is available in the cottage and there is a private space outside for parking.

There is a local bus service which runs to the main towns on the island, such as Holyhead and Llangefni.

Utilities such as gas, electric and water are included in the cost, and rates are in the range £440 to £625 per week.

How to get here:

On the A55 across Anglesey leave on Junction 5 signposted for Aberffraw ( A4080), going through the villages of Engedi and Llanfaelog. Continue along this road as it follows the coastline until you approach Aberffraw.

Pendref coastal cottage is on Church Street, Aberffraw, LL63 5LQ.
