Enjoy a peaceful, restful holiday at a traditional Anglesey farmhouse cottage near Llangaffo village, rated with 5 stars by Visit Wales and with lovely views of Snowdonia in the distance.

Fron Deg holiday lets is a self-catering property comprising of a renovated farmhouse within a courtyard which also contains four converted stone cottages, all within 5 acres of well kept, lawned gardens and agricultural land.

The two storey farmhouse and four cottages are available all year round and all have central heating and are furnished throughout to a very high standard.

The self-catering cottages, with two bedrooms (one double and two singles - note: see below) accommodate up to four people, have an open plan design for kitchen, dining room and lounge area. Each cottage has French windows which open on to your own special sun terrace with views of the gardens beyond.

If you opt for the main farmhouse, this has sleeping space for up to eight people in four bedrooms, which includes three en-suite doubles.

The farmhouse was completely renovated in 2003 and while it has top quality facilities to make you feel at home, it retains the traditional look and feel of the farmhouse.

On the ground floor Fron Deg farmhouse offers an excellent modern kitchen and a large dining room which can seat ten people.

There are also two large lounges including a wood burning stove in the inglenook. There is also an extra double bed in the form of a sofa bed on the ground floor.

The first floor has three double bedrooms with en-suite facilities, while two single beds are available in a fourth bedroom. There is also a bathroom with with bath and toilet.

You can enjoy pleasant views of the garden and grounds from the patio which is accessed from the kitchen. So, on a fine sunny Anglesey morning, what better start to the day than having fresh fruit and muesli and a cup of fresh ground coffee for breakfast.

You may of course prefer one of the four holiday cottages- called Ty Pigyn (only one double bedroom), Ty Cornel, Ty Nesaf, and Ty Gwenno - which are accessed from the gravelled courtyard, not open to cars.

Originally converted from farm outbuildings in the 1980's, all four holiday cottages have been refurbished recently and have new central heating systems installed.

The accommodation also has new furniture, bathrooms and other fixtures to make sure you have a comfortable and pleasant stay, without losing the original character of the cottages.

Other facilities available for your stay include a bicycle store, laundry and barbecue. For a special supplement, the owners of Fron Deg holidays allow you to bring up to two pets (if well behaved) if you are staying in the holiday cottages.

After crossing the Britannia Bridge, leave the A55 (Junction 7), at the big roundabout go right, following the signs for Gaerwen, drive through this village and when you enter the next village, Pentre Berw, take a left turn at the junction for Llangaffo (B4419).

Drive through Llanfihangel Ysceifiog, cross a railway level crossing and then enter Llangaffo, take a left turn opposite the village shop and after a further 200m you are there. See map of Anglesey here.
