As far as the eye can see, to the north west is the village of Moelfre, famous for its rich maritime history. Running further down the coast you take in Benllech and the vast sandy sweep of Red Wharf Bay. You should be aware that there are two roads running down to the beach. Both are very steep. So you need good brakes and subtle clutch control for the inevitable hill start when you meet an oncoming vehicle.

Once down on the beach you can find your own spot quite easily given the long length of soft sand available. You can relax in the knowledge that you and your family are enjoying the qualities associated with a winner of the European Blue Flag Seaside Award. other activities available here include canoeing, fishing and sailing.

Facilities include a ramp for launching boats, a cafe and toilets (including disabled access).
