Help me with Llanddona beach road

by Jess
(UK)

My family heritage is in Llanddona, my great grandparents lived in Tan-Y-Wylfa a long time ago overlooking this beautiful beach.

I guess its in our blood because every year my family and I try and make it back for a day.

This year I'll be coming back on my own as a new driver, and I was wondering whether the roads, for a new driver, would be suitable.

I'm up for a challenge! And I was wondering which would be the best way to get to the Llanddona end of the beach?

I know how steep the roads are, its a little worrying for my first time, but I want to do it, and I will.

Any help would be great!

Thank you

getting to Llanddona Beach
by: Keith

When you enter Llanddona from Beaumaris, you will see the pub on the corner (think it is Owain Glyndwr pub).

At the corner is a brown road sign pointing to the beach, which you will approach by going down Allt Bron-Philip.

This is very steep and you should be careful because the lane is also very narrow.
