Find the best Anglesey Hotels
Finding good hotels for your stay on Anglesey can be difficult. It may depend on what facilities and level of service you expect. Or perhaps where to spend most of your stay on the island is the most important consideration.

Will you be getting here by train or car?
Do you prefer a quiet country hotel or a lovely coastal setting?
We hope to answer these and other questions on your virtual tour of Anglesey.
Our family and friends have stayed at some of these places. We have taken their experiences together with our local knowledge to provide this information. We hope you find it helpful when you come to planning your stay here.
Trearddur Bay Hotel

Situated on the western side of the island, this award-winning, quality hotel is well-positioned for some breathtaking sea views.
With its almost unrivalled postion overlooking the bay, this could be your base to relax and enjoy excellent beaches and bays only a stone's through away.
You will find spacious, high quality bedrooms in this accommodation. The restaurant has a very good reputation for excellent food and a fine selection of wines.
Being so close to the sea, there is an exciting range of fresh, locally caught seafood. You may prefer the less formal Inn at the Bay which has an exciting and creative menu.
A recently completed conference centre -with dining facilities- adds a further dimension, and offers a panoramic view over the bay and adjacent coastline.
And if you don't fancy a swim in the sea, you can instead enjoy the on-site heated indoor pool.
Or if you fancy a round of golf, there is a demanding 18-hole course nearby. The upper gardens within the grounds are quiet and offer excellent views over the Bay.
Staying at Trearddur Bay Hotel is also convenient for some of our island's most interesting attractions, including South Stack Lighthouse, the RSPB Birdwatching Centre, and the Coastal Footpath.

If you are planning on travelling to Ireland, then this is a handy place to stay before you join the Dublin Ferry at the Port of Holyhead.
Directions: Take the A55 across the island until you enter Holyhead. At the first roundabout, take the first exit (sign for Trearddur Bay, B4545). Leave Holyhead and continue on this road until you come to the bottom of a steep hill in Trearddur. Turn right opposite the Shell Garage, and then drive parallel with an open playing field for about 200 metres. Your accommodation is then on your right, opposite the Lifeboat Station. Tre-Ysgawen Hall Hotel & SpaA most interesting property situated in the centre of the island, just a few miles north of the county town of Llangefni.
Tre-ysgawen Hall is a sympathetically resotred grand Victorian House, built in 1882 for the Pritchard Rayner family.
It has recently been extended to include a modern Spa. If you want to relax and enjoy a peaceful break in a quiet countryside location, then this hotel may be for you.
Directions: From the A55, take the Llangefni turning (A5114) and continue into the town. Then follow the one-way system and signs for Llanerchymedd (B5111). Continue out of the town (B5111) and up a steep hill for about one and a half miles. Take the right turning for capel Coch and follow signs for Tre-ysgawen Hall, which is on the left.
