Ronan Keating Team Completes Charity Swim
Ronan Keating and a team of celebrities and top swimmers have completed the gruelling 57 mile charity relay swim across the Irish Sea from Holyhead, Anglesey, arriving south of Dublin on Thursday morning.
The team of swimmers included Pamela Stephenson, Jason Bradbury, Jenny Frost and Olympic medal winning swimmer Steve Parry.
They completed the Irish Sea crossing, during which they faced and overcame the challenges of jelly fish, in 35 hours and 19 minutes, touching land just north of Wicklow at around 8.20 on Thursday, 1 September.
Ronan Keating and his team, also supported by Sir Richard Branson, planned to raise around £1 million for the charity Cancer Research UK.
