Sunday 24th August saw the 11th Annual Macmillan Golf Day celebrated at Bull Bay Golf Club, Anglesey.

Each year the organiser, Richard Butler, persuades
teams of golfers to come along and play in the Stapleford Competition.

Year by year the golfers turn up to support Macmillan Cancer Support whose patients are the beneficiaries of the money raised. Holes are sponsored, prizes donated and
raffle tickets sold.

Once more the weather was kind to us” said Keith Alexander, Secretary of the Anglesey Macmillan Committee.

I am not a golfer, but I thoroughly enjoy meeting the teams and giving them the rules of the competition as they set off
from the first tee.

We are grateful for the sponsorship we receive and in particular from Barclays Bank, Specsavers and their staff who work so hard to ensure the success of the
day.

To date this year's Bull Bay Golf Day has raised a total of £5,350 pounds, bringing the grand total raised sinced its inception to £45,000 pounds!
