The Castle Players present 'The Wind in the Willows'

by Tony Vickers
(Beaumaris)

Kenneth Graham's famous book 'The Wind in the Willows' celebrates its centenary this year.

As a classic tale of adventure and friendship, it is a rare treasure that improves with age and appeals to adults and children alike.

To mark this occasion, The Beaumaris Castle Players will be presenting a pantomime version of this delightful story for their post-Christmas production.

This will be a major and exciting event involving a large cast including many young people as well as our established members.

Performances will be in Beaumaris Town Hall on Friday 9th and Sat. 10th January at 7.00pm and Sunday 11th January, 2009 at 2.30pm.

Further performances are on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th January at 7.00pm.

Ticket prices are £6 for adults and £4 for those under 18.

Once your Christmas parties are over, do join the party at Toad Hall. Ratty, Mole, Badger and Toad are all waiting for you to share in the exploits in The Wild Wood or just 'simply messing about in boats'.

Tickets will be available in Beaumaris Post Office and from club members from early December. Don't be disappointed; make it a real family occasion and book early. We look forward to seeing you.
