Run, Rabbit Run! Moelfre Fundraiser

The Moelfre Singing for Pleasure Singers raised the sum of £1,000 at their recent concert of songs and sketches from the war years.

Dressed in period costume the singers performed popular songs of the time under the banner of the BBC; Nation Shall Speak Peace Unto Nation.

Petra Lloyd Davies, their conductor said that she had been delighted with the choir's efforts, and with the fantastic sum raised which will go towards the refitting of the church hall in the village.

"It was a great evening full of humour and moments of real poignancy." Said Petra.
