Porth Dafarch Beach Video, Anglesey Coastal Path

AddThis Social Bookmark Button

We hope you enjoy this Porth Dafarch Beach video clip, taken from the south side of the bay and looking over towards the caravan park and coves along the rocky coastal strip running towards Holyhead Range.

Porth Dafarch beach has quite a narrow entrance, however, when there is a south westerly gale the seas drive a big swell onto the beach.

Small dinghies and kayaks are often launched from here and nearby coves. It is a great area to explore either by small dinghy, kayak or canoe.

And you will sometimes see the occasional fisherman trying his luck off the outer rocks, along the Anglesey Coastal Path.

The beach is one of a number on Anglesey to have won the prestigious European Blue Flag award for quality beaches and bathing water.
