McKesson UK Creates 300 Jobs On Menai Straits

by Laura Sabadus
(North Wales)

IT company McKesson UK has announced that it will create about 300 jobs at Parc Menai, just over from Menai Bridge on Anglesey.

McKesson UK is responsible for rolling out the new NHS payroll and human resources system, and the new posts will be created over the next three years.

Such a major investment by an IT company is a great boost for the North West Wales economy. The project has been given financial backing by the Welsh Assembly Government.

Charmaine McDonald, managing director of UK operations, is optimistic about attracting skilled and talented people from the local area to work as part of the new team in what is a major UK wide operation for the NHS.
