low key family campsite near sandy beach

Hi, we are a family of 5 and are unsure where to stay on Anglesey. We prefer quieter locations but the children do like a nice sandy beach.

Ideally also near to a village for provisions ( rather than big supermarket) - hope you can help - kind regards jane horton.

Jane,

Many thanks for your message.

You may want to look at this sandy beach, on the west side of Anglesey, facing Holyhead bay. You reach the site from the main Holyhead to Amlwch road - the A5025, following signs for Llanfwrog/Sandy Bay.

The Anglesey coastal path runs past the site and the location is ideal for family water activities, including sailing and canoeing.

Example of Anglesey Family friendly campsite.

I don't usually comments on post but as I see this post I was totally moved to write. I appreciate that it may not be sufficient for someone to help with homework.

We used to have a family campsite here in India near Chennai. But it was destroyed in the tsunami. I hope we will be able to get another good spot some time soon. Thanks for the share.

There are many places to hang out in those parts of the country. There are many camp sites where you could drive from home and spend a weekend in the best manner possible. You just have to look closely to what you want.
