Island Arts Weeks Open Studios, Galleries 2013
by Jo Quinney
Open Studios and Galleries 23 March to 7 April 2013
This Easter, Anglesey Arts Forum is celebrating the tenth year when artists and craftspeople open their studios and galleries to visitors.
Don’t feel shy about visiting; all the artists offer a warm welcome and an opportunity gain a unique glimpse of the artistic process. Venues include studios, chapels, barns, sheds, galleries and artists’ homes.
You can meet and talk with the artist, often over a cup of tea. A wide-ranging variety of art is available, from work in progress to exhibitions of contemporary art.
A forty-eight page colour Guide has been widely distributed and a PDF copy is available to download online at www.angleseyartsforum.org/en/.
The event is spread over the two full weeks of Easter: Saturday 23 March to Sunday 7 April 2013.
Studios are open on varying days and times so use the route planner and listings of openings by day in the Guide, and on the website.
For further details, daily schedules, member profiles, images and information about the studios, go to: http://www.angleseyartsforum.org/en/aaw/.
This project has funding through the Rural Development Plan for Wales 2007–2013, which is funded by the Welsh Government and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
