Introduction to Bushcraft, Comfort in the Wilderness

This one day activity wil give participants an introduction to the art of Bushcraft.

Bushcraft is the art of learning to live comfortably in a wilderness environment using the minimum of modern equipment.

The day will be led by professional bushcraft instructors and the course is designed to provide an introduction to the tools, techniques and skills of Bushcraft.

During the day you will learn how to safely use a knife, saw and axe.

You will also find out how to light a fire without matches, how to construct an emergency shelter, how to identify plants for food and medicine, and many other skills.

This activity will be held on Saturday 6th September, 2008, at Coed Cyrnol in Menai Bridge.

Cost is £15 per person and the event is open to anyone over the age of 11, no previous bushcraft experience required.
