Leading foster care agency, Fostering Solutions are attending the Anglesey Show on 12th and 13th August to get people thinking about a unique career, fostering.

Staff and foster carers will be on hand to explain just what is involved in becoming a foster carer.

Foster carers need determination, patience and the
ability to stick at it even when things are tough.

Many of the children and young people requiring foster care have faced much uncertainty in their short lives.

However, with a little bit of guidance and a lot of love, a child’s life can be turned around for the better.

The rewards of fostering far outweigh any of the challenges.

One foster carer, Mary, explains, "I learn something new every day about the girls and whilst fostering is a busy and demanding job, what you put in, you get back a 100 times over when you see their smile, progress and achievements".

She adds, "I was 56 when I began fostering, I'm sorry I didn’t do it years ago. It is the most amazing thing that I have done in my life."

If you would like to find out more about fostering, come along to the Anglesey Show on 12th and 13th July and have a chat to local foster carers and staff.

Alternatively, call Fostering Solutions on 08453 700 500 for an information pack or apply online at www.fosteringsolutions.com.
