Bull Bay Memorial Plaque Mystery

by Katie
(UK)

We have had a caravan on Anglesey for thirty years, we come back nearly every weekend in the Summer.

I do get homesick for the place in the months when the caravan park is closed. Obviously we know the island quite well.

It's a question I was wondering about, does anyone know who's grave/resting place is at Bull Bay?

As you walk through the pub car park and up to the coastal path there are a couple of benches dotted here and there so you can have a rest.

It was there that we spotted what looked like a little memorial plaque with a womans name on it.

Sorry, I can't remember the name. I just wondered who she was, a woman who just loved the walk or maybe someones pet.

If you blink hard you would miss the spot.

Hello Katie,
Me and my husband walk there in the Summer we are also visitors to Anglesey that have been coming back for the past 30yrs.

We have seen the little memorial that you are taking about and we have wondered for years who the lady is, maybe it is a pet, obviously the place has a special meaning to her, be it a woman or a loved pet.
RIP whoever it is.
I would love to know.
Best wishes
