Birthday Treat for me, Colour Inspiration for Alison

by Paul Hunt
(Derbyshire)

I've always wanted to see Parys Mountain since learning about it in geography at school many years ago

So I nominated it and Angelsey as my birthday treat this year.

Not only did it satisfy my curiosity but it satisfied my passion to discover new places such as South Stack, Newborough Forest and the picturesque estuary at Aberffraw leading to a new deserted beach.

It also provided great colour inspiration for my partner Alison, who is a designer weaver, as you'll see from her blog at http://willingtonweaver.blogspot.com/

Note from the editor: you can see some photos of the fascinating Parys Mountain landscape here.
