AN EASTER TREASURE HUNT
Easter is coming and it is time to plan some interesting days
out. Why not spend a day or two hunting potential art treasure in artists studios all over Anglesey? This is the fourth year of the two week Anglesey Art Forum, and it is a unique opportunity to talk to artists, look at their work and discover some fascinating and hidden corners of this beautiful island.

Informal lessons for beginners available at the Over 50s club, Iorwerth Rowlands Centre, Beaumaris commencing Monday 16th April 10am.

Ann Street, Chairperson of Motor NeuroneDisease Association Anglesey and Gwynedd branch accepting a cheque for £830 from Eurwyn and Agnes Evans and Rhiannon Rowlands.
The amount was raised through the Anglesey Fun Run and a coffee evening held in Benllech in aid of MND.
Eurwyn & Agnes Evans and family would like to thank everyone for their support of both events.

LLANGOED
LLANGOED WALKS
The Llangoed Walking for Health group meets every Wednesday afternoon at 2 pm in the car park opposite the pub. Our gentle walks are usually for about one hour about the Penmon/Llangoed area. Buses from Menai Bridge or Beaumaris get here for about 1.50 pm. For more information contact Howard, (01248) 810 050 or just turn up!
LLANGOED GARDENING CLUB
During the winter the club meets on the third Monday of each month at 7.30pm in Llangoed village hall. In the summer we arrange visits to local gardens.
Plans are complete for our 2007 meetings, we welcome new members and visitors to any of our meetings.
On 19th February 2007 our guest is from Hortus Monensis, Menai Bridge, speaking on “A Designer’s Point of View”.
On 15th January we look forward to hearing Gaenor Price talking about 18th century gardens.

SINGING FOR PLEASURE
We had two marvellous evenings at the concerts ‘Our Favourite Things’ on 13th & 14th April. There was great enthusiasm both from singers and record audiences. Our guests - the Hand Bell Ringers ‘Clychau’r Enfys’ and ‘Shades of Harmony’ impressed everyone.
As a result of the two evenings, the sum of £1,020 has been given to Alaw Cancer and Haematology Unit Fund.
Thank you everybody.

Moelfre Singing for Pleasure presents ‘Our Favourite Things’ at Moelfre School.
Guest appearances
by ‘Shades of Harmony’ and hand bell ringers ‘Clychau’r Enfys’. Admission by ticket (£2.50 including refresments) available from all members and by phone on (01248) 410484, 410389, 410872 and 852756. You are advised to get your tickets early as this is a popular concert. All proceeds from the evenings to Alaw Cancer and Haematology Unit, Ysbyty Gwynedd.

MOELFRE SINGING FOR PLEASURE
On 15 and 16 December Singing for Pleasure presented performances of "Here Comes Christmas" . So succesful were the two performances that they raised £750 which was donated to Wales Air Ambulance.
Singing for Pleasure wishes to thank all who participated and in particular to crew members who explained the valuable work they do, financed from voluntary contributions.
Next concert by Singing for Pleasure will be "Our Favourite Things" to be held on April 13,14 and 15 2007.
MOELFRE WI
The first meeting of the New Year will be held at Moelfre Church Hall on Tuesday, 9 January at 2 pm. All are invited to come along and hear guest speaker Liz Lowry who will give a progress report on her museum project.
